DIVA Becomes Offshore is based on a different idea.
The idea that experience, seamanship, engineering and preparation still matter.
In an age of carbon foils, satellite communications and ever more complex systems, this project asks a simple question:
Can a well-prepared offshore racing yacht from the 1980s still be competitive in a modern solo round-the-world race?
The answer will be found on the water.
